UCEED 2018 Application Process

The UCEED is an exam that is conducted in the beginning of the year, mostly January. However certain procedures such as downloading the admit card, start in the December of the year before.

The registration is done solely through the online portal, and in order to register candidates must fulfill all of the eligibility criteria. If not the registration can be cancelled at any stage of the application process. The list of documents required for this procedure are:

• A recent colour photograph of full frontal view, with the head centred in the frame covering 70-80% of the photograph and taken within the last six months. The photograph should be such that it allows for unambiguous identification of the candidate (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg will be accepted).

• Scanned copy of candidate’s full signature on white paper (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg will be accepted).

• Qualifying examination certificate, if appeared in 2017 (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted).

• Candidates who will be appearing in 2018 for the board exam, a certificate from the school/college principal in the given format should be uploaded (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted).

• If the name is not same as in the Class XII certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted).

After the registration process, one is allowed to download the admit card, from the registration portal. The admit card will bear the following details of the candidate: Name, UCEED registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2018, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions to candidates. If there are any discrepancies with the admit card, the candidate should contact the Chairman, JEE (Advanced), UCEED & CEED 2018 at IIT Bombay via email. This must be done as soon as possible as there is a certain date you have to do it by.
