Well-equipped facilities such as Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Swimming, Cycling, Football, Cricket, etc. are available on the campus for our students.

ADYPU organizes activities and events for students throughout the year.

Ablaze, DeTour, cultural festival, food festival, movie screenings, contests, quizzes, Prom Night are just some of the fun activities that our students engage and enjoy.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Library

ADYPU Library is one of the premier design libraries in India. This Library is an essential component of the ADYPU Design and Technology University’s. Library has full Wi-Fi facility Library provides a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery. The mission of the library is to facilitate the creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services. Library is a fully automated and has a rich collection of books predominantly related to Design, Management, and allied subjects and periodicals, audio visual documents and CD-ROMS as well as valuable subscription to electronics online resource databases. The well-furnished library is located on the ground floor of the DC building, with a seating capacity for 100 users.

Recreation and Sports

The recreation room has been set up for the students, where they are free to use facilities during their free time. The sports ground houses a number of outdoor games facilities like Foot ball, Cricket, Volley ball, Gym for Girls and Boys, Lawn Tennis Court and Basket Ball Court . Special care is taken for the maintenance of the entire ground. Indoor game facilities like Table tennis, carom, Badminton is also provided.

Computer Labs

Computer Design Lab equipped with latest software's and workstations. It is connected to internet through a lease line to facilitate high speed internet access. Servers are connected through a structured network. Printer and copier facilities are also available in the lab. Experienced full-time faculty and administrative staff along with a team of off-site professional educators, all of whom provide services to students to help them succeed. Clay Modelling Workshop, Metal & Wood workshop, CNC Machine, Laster Cutting Machine, 3D Printer, Digital Lab, work Station Lab with latest Software, classrooms ICT Enabled with Projectors.

Hostel & Mess

ADYPU School of Design provides Hostel Facility for both Boys and Girls. ADYPU Hostel provides quality living in a homely atmosphere, it is a home away from home for students from all parts of the country. All the rooms are allotted on Twin Sharing and First Come First Serve Basis. Generator Back up round the clock, WIFI System, Provision of Pest control in rooms and outside area, 24 hours security, Excellent furniture for every room, Availability of Doctor, Residential hostel Wardens, Laundry Facility, Mess Facility, Safe Drinking water, Recreation room with Television.

The Ajeenkya DY Patil University pays great attention to the development of international collaboration in order to promote international identification and to strengthen good reputation. We would be very active in international collaboration. The objective is to focus on the content and quality of international cooperation in order to make internationalization a balanced element of education and research. From the beginning, we will be a truly international institution both in our vision and actions. Special attention will be given to building and developing links with esteemed universities of the world.

We believe that international co-operation is a prerequisite for ensuring the sustainability and quality of teaching and research at the center. The Placement and Training Cell at ADYPU is an interface between industry practitioners and the student-body of ADYPU, facilitating both entities to make strategic hiring and career decisions. The office of the PCRT has contacts and databases of thousands of sectors, companies and personnel working in various positions, with whom the office shares a wonderful mutual relationship. T-Shaped Professional

With the change in times and with new challenges comes along new competencies. It overtakes the old ones and begins a quest for new ones. In this respect Ajeenkya DY Patil University follows two great thinkers Daniel Pink and Howard Gardener.

In “A Whole New Mind”, Daniel Pink describes that this new economy calls for skills and talents that, historically, have been largely discounted in the workplace – creativity, empathy, intuition, and the ability to link seemingly unrelated objects and events into something new and different. Students who participate for campus placement are final year students who have recently graduated and are readily available to join.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Summer internship is typically undertaken by students who are in their penultimate graduating year. The purpose of an internship for our students is not only to learn but also to demonstrate their ability to apply the knowledge and skills which they have gained throughout their educational years.

Qualification for B. Des – 12th or HSC from a Recognized Board of Education ( Min 45%)

Qualification for M. Des – Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University of Educational Institute

STEP 1 : Visit the Application link for ADAT fill the Application Form along with registration fee of ₹2,000/-

STEP 2 : ADAT Online Aptitude Test. (Details will be shared 2 week prior the Exam Date)

STEP 3 : Qualifiers list will be announced on ADYPU website.

STEP 4 : As per the Application review process the Qualified students will be scheduled for an Online Personal Interview and Portfolio Evaluation round.

STEP 5 : Shortlisted Aspirants will be receiving the Selection Letter on their registered email ID.

STEP 6 : Shortlisted students can secure the provisional admission by paying the Commencement fee.
