Having studied architecture, Michel Glize wanted to create a workshop for students preparing for the competitive exams for entry into the Grande Ecole art schools. LISAA is one of the few schools recognized by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication in France. LISAA’s qualifications are listed on the French Register of Professional Certifications. LISAA is reputed among professionals: it is a member of SNJV, RECA, FDE and is recognized by UNAID. It is a Toon Boom center of excellence. LISAA School of Design in Bangalore was established in the year 2013 and is administrated by CREO Valley college in Bangalore, affiliated to Bangalore City University, ascribed by Karnataka Government, proffering Bachelor’s Degree courses in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphics and Communications Design (UI/UX), Animation, Film Making and Photography and an International Certification from LISAA France with access to accompanying education in France.

LISAA School of Design/CREO VALLEY College in Bangalore is stretched over 30,000 Square feet air-conditioned campus with most sophisticated, innovative, eminent, and contemporary state-of-the-art infrastructure with profusely furnished Computer Lab and naturally lit studios, Patternmaking Lab, Sewing Lab, Library, Audio Visual Room, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre, Product design lab, Film making Studio, Cafeteria and all the requisite amenities as well.

The Creo Valley college was initiated with a tremendous objective with an ostensible vision to convey in the revolutionary arena with a novel and inimitable methodology towards the Design disciplines to foster ingenuity and experimentation deciphering the design tenets to progress a rehabilitated perception to design in the arena of Fashion, Interiors, Graphics, and Animation. LISAA’s premeditated objective is to foster these attributes among the students, to escalate and hone their prerequisite corporate skills associated with the augmented communal pertinence.

The library is well-equipped with modern facilities and resources such as books, journals, CD rooms, and online databases. The library collection includes core subjects from university-run courses like Design, Liberal Arts & Mass Communication. LISAA’s campus in Bangalore library is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and it has a well-established with advanced labs. 

Collaborations

At LISAA School of Design, we believe strongly in extending our horizons to propel deserving creative minds across the globe. On a regular basis, LISAA conducts workshops, seminars among its more than 10 locations worldwide. On a regular basis, our delegations visit and establish foreign collaboration in a variety of capacities. This includes but is limited to student exchange programmes, dual degrees, direct admission to postgraduate programmes, etc. LISAA’s global network encompasses a large network of schools.  

Workshops, Trips and other activities 

Education trips that form a part of the LISAA’s curriculum are very valuable as they provide the students the opportunity of learning through travel, especially to places that they may not otherwise get to visit. Apart from this, the trips also provide relief from the drudgery that academic study sometimes becomes, an opportunity for close interaction with peers that students enjoy so much, and a chance for the teachers to observe and interact with the student in a structure different from and more informal than the classroom. LISAA School of Design and CREO Valley also celebrates the annual sports day – “Integration Cup”.

More importantly, these trips emphasize the attentive mind, enabling a sense of discovery and quality of quietness. And this emphasis need not come in the way of such trips being ‘fun’, as they are meant to be.

Our education trips are conducted on an annual basis and detailed plans along with academic goals are put together by the Academic Team to ensure learning goals are met. Modules are designed for observation and study of different aspects.

Eligibility:

• Qualification for Bachelors Degree Courses – 10+2 pass/appearing (any stream).
• Qualification for Masters Degree Courses – 10+2+3/4 Years Degree in any stream from any recognized University.
• Qualification for Diploma Courses – 10 pass.

Admission Process:

• In order to handle huge volumes of Admission applications each year, LISAA School of Design entrance exams online to suit the student’s needs. The students (from out of Bangalore) while sitting at home can take the LISAA CAT entrance exam by following the steps mentioned below:-
• Step 1 Submit the inquiry form and register for LISAA’s Creative Aptitude Test (CAT). Or send an email to [email protected] and one of the Admission Team members will get in touch soon.
• Step 2 Admission team will send the entrance test and other details over emails.
• Step 3 Student has about a total of 6 hrs to complete the exam and submit the scanned answer sheet via email.
• Step 4 Results are declared usually within 24 hrs (please reach out to your Admission Team member if you do not hear within this timeframe).
• Step 5 Personal interview through Skype, Phone, or in-person & Portfolio Assessment (if required).
• Step 6 Fee Payment within 10 days of receiving confirmation to reserve the seat.
• Students who are able to appear for the entrance test at the LISAA Center are requested to connect with the admission team to set up a time slot for them.
• In some rare cases, students can be directly admitted based on a personal interview / Skype Chat (please talk to your Admission Coordinator for details).
