Highlights of the campus:

Nitte School of Architecture Planning and Design (NSAPD) was established in the year 2016 with a 5 years B.ArchProgram.B.Plan course was introduced in the year 2017 and started in the Research Center in 2021. NSAPD is the first & foremost institution to start a B.plan program under VTU in Karnataka.

• NSAPD is approved by the Government of Karnataka, Council of Architecture (COA), Delhi, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Vishveshvaraya Technological University (VTU), and Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI).
• We at Nitte School of Architecture Planning and Design believe in the holistic development of our students to enhance their threshold capacity.
• The Philosophy of the school is that every student is suitable to undertake Creative studies. Few require more training and few less. It is the direction, Path and efforts that decide how creative one can become…
• NSAPD is associated with the Indian Institute of Architects and is the first of its kind to have an IIA NSAPD student’s chapter.
• We are affiliated with Indian Green Building Council and have an IGBC Nitte SAPD students chapter. NSAPD is also tied up with GEM Assocham.
• NSAPD is recognised as the nodal Centre for CEGR (Centre for Education Growth and Research Activity) in Karnataka State

FACILITIES AT NITTE SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE PLANNING & DESIGN 

1. Transportation: We have a good transportation facility. Our buses cover around 5000 km/day reaching out to students from all the corners of the city.
2. Infrastructure: Our building itself speaks for the design education we provide and we have the state of the art facilities as per COA Norms. All our studios are equipped with modern and comfortable drawing tables, the best audio-visual lecture halls,300 Capacity Auditorium, an exclusive permanent Exhibition hall, a Material museum, Amphitheatre, Model making studio, and Lifts for vertical circulation hence making it user-friendly.
3. We have surveillance CCTV cameras set up to monitor students in and out of our block.
4. Hostel: We have good hostel facilities supported by a hygienic mess for both boys and girls separately. Additional to this we also have food courts, ATMs & bank facilities within our campus.
5. Academics: NSAPD offers Under Graduate programmes in B.Arch and B.Plan. NSAPD is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological university and is approved by AICTE, Council of Architecture, Institute of Town Planners, India and the Government of Karnataka. We are the only institution to offer the B.Plan program in Karnataka, which is approved by AICTE and affiliated with VTU.
6. Library: NSAPD library holds exclusive books for architecture & planning with more than 1800 volumes. We keep updating the books according to the changing trend.
7. Faculty: All our faculties are qualified from top-notch universities and are working for more than 5 years with NSAPD. Our faculties have UG/PG from IITs, IISC-Bengaluru, NITs, SPA’s, CEPT Ahmadabad, Anna University, Chennai, and International Universities like Carnell Univ., Penn State Univ., Univ. Of Denver, and Post Doctorate from UC Berkeley.
8. Work environment: We share the campus facilities with NitteMeenakshi Institute of Technology. This ensures that students are in a collaborative space to learn and work with students from other branches of engineering and management.

5. We ensure industry readiness through our initiatives like Collaborative Incubation Cell (C.I.C) which gives real-time projects to students to work on. This gives them a fair understanding of the challenges in business during their undergraduate years.   
6. We have an IIA NITTE SAP STUDENTS CENTER which is the first of its kind and an IGBC Nitte SPE students’ chapter in association with NMIT, Bangalore. These tie-ups go a long way in giving students opportunities and exposure.
7. We create a stimulating environment to encourage entrepreneurship through a face-to-face and collaborative experience in our physical space which itself is an inspiring infrastructure. 
8. At NSAPD, we have a 3-tier Proctorial system in place to help the student ease through their undergraduate journey with all the professional and emotional support they might require. 
9. Our design education approach is best positioned to facilitate and cultivate the soft skills that is pre-requisite for any role a student takes on. Design critiques, student presentations, team projects, and deadlines are all developed to improve their skills.

Eligibility

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch):

• Passed 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry &Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects, OR Passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• In addition to these eligibility criteria, the candidate should have a VALID NATA SCORE.

Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan):

• Candidates must have 10+2 with a maximum pass percentage with mathematics as a compulsory subject for the Management seat.
• Candidates with a qualifying score in any one of the entrance Examinations either CET/COMED-K eligible for the course.
