Courses Offered:

Bachelor of Architecture - Architecture influences all aspects of the built environment and brings together the arts, environmental awareness, sciences and technology. By combining creative design with technical knowledge, architects create the physical environment, in which people live, which in turn influences quality of life. Not only do architects inform the overall aesthetics of a city or region by pushing the boundaries of design and style, but they also make invaluable contributions to the quality of life, public health and sustainability of any given region. By raising design standards in our cities, urban areas, and commercial and residential buildings, the profession as a whole as well as the Institute has a major role in shaping the future of the Nation.

The Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is five years duration and provides the students with the required skills to excel in related fields of architecture like Urban Design, Urban Planning, Conservation, and Building services & guides the students to decide on their own specialization. There are multidisciplinary challenges which influence architecture like Art, Technology, Environment, Society, Aesthetics and many more. Architecture is always dynamic. Hence the B.Arch. program is designed keeping in view the current situation and possible future developments at the global level. The program aims to improve students’ aesthetic judgments and facilitate exposure to a wide range of techniques and learning methods. The student-centred teaching learning ambience and hands-on experience help to develop their personality to become successful professionals.

Eligibility

A candidate who has passed in PUC / XII, or equivalent course with PCM subjects, OR 10 + 3 (Diploma in Architecture). Mandatory Qualification in NATA/JEE (Paper 2)
