The total duration of the examination is 3 hours. The question paper contains two parts – Part A and Part B.

The duration of Part A is 2 hours and 30 minutes and is divided into three sections, A, B and C. There are a total of 68 questions carrying a total of 240 marks.

• Section A (72 Marks) contains a total of 18 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. There is NO NEGATIVE marking for this section.
• Section B (72 Marks) contains a total of 18 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) with partial marking. Each question may have one or more than one correct choice(s) out of the four given. There is NEGATIVE marking of −1 for this section.
• Section C (96 Marks) contains a total of 32 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question has four choices out of which ONLY ONE is the correct answer. There is NEGATIVE marking of −0.71 (minus one point three two) for this section.

Part B is also compulsory and contains 2 drawing questions of 60 marks for a duration of 30 minutes.
