can we apply with jee paper 2 percentile for upes school for design ? can we apply to private colleges if we just qualified in uceed in category but not in open

as it is mentioned in the website they have asked valid uceed/jee score but they didnt give a clarity about whether it is paper 1 or paper 2 if it is paper 2 why is it valid for school of design?
can we apply to other private design colleges if you just qualify in category in uceed but not in open category
