The UCEED - 2019 paper is divided into three sections, A, B and C. There are a total of 85 questions carrying a total of 300 marks.

• Section A (60 Marks) contains a total of 20 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. There is NO NEGATIVE marking for this section.
• Section B (60 Marks) contains a total of 20 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ). Each question may have one or more than one correct choice(s) out of the four given. There is NEGATIVE marking of −0.19 (minus zero point one nine) for this section.
• Section C (180 Marks) contains a total of 45 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question has four choices out of which ONLY ONE is the correct answer. There is NEGATIVE marking of −1.32 (minus one point three two) for this section.
