Observe what other people are doing for the same question. Read about various famous and interesting buildings/ monuments (architecture); designer clothing and accessory, unique products and fascinating animals and plants. This should get you started on effective idea generation!

What worked for me was to sit with one of the DQ Faculty and learn the technical skill of drawing humans. Eventually, a human can be dran within basic 2D and 3D shapes. Learn the basics, don't try and jump to drawing poses and actions!

Mark a height on your reference line(which is perpendicular to your horizon line), eg: 1/3rd the height of the line, and draw a line from that point to the vanishing point. that way all heights will remain fixed along that line.
